Mercedes and I got the awesome opportunity to perform at Disco Inferno, a 70s dance party event held at Galatos, off Karangahape Rd in Auckland.

We arrived at 8pm, saw the beautiful wooden floor of Galatos night club and immediately got super excited to skate! We were already changed so we whipped off our shoes and got those skates on faster than ever.

The floor in Galatos is a roller skater’s dream! We could not have asked for a better venue to kick off our summer performances. We boogied amongst the party goers and showed off our skating skills whilst enjoying our favourite music genre, disco.

Fun fact, I bought my purple jumpsuit online and then our Mum copied the pattern and made Mercedes the gold jumpsuit! It looked amazing on stage!
