Bring your skates and whatever safety gear you feel comfortable using! Helmets and pads are encouraged but not required. If you’re hiring skates make sure you bring socks! Wear clothes you can comfortably move in and layers in case it gets hot.

Skate hire for Auckland classes can booked with your class by ticking the skate hire add-on button before selecting the date. The cost for this is $7. If you select a skate size but you don’t tick the add-on, you will be charged separately for the skate hire on the card you used to book your class.

If you are booking in multiple people at once you will have the same skate size selected — flick us an email at info@heymacarena.co.nz if you need different sizes.

By booking a class you consent to the following terms:

- I acknowledge the risks that are present when roller skating and assume all personal responsibility to personal injury. I certify that I’m physically fit enough to take part in roller skating and that I have not been advised not to by a medical professional.

- I consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity or event.

- I understand that at this or related activities or events, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the activity or event holders, producers, sponsors, organisers, and assigns.

- I understand and acknowledge that outdoor classes may be more risky due to uneven surface, pebbles and weather.

- I understand Hey Macarena will not provide protective gear and I will bring my own if I feel I need it.

You can reschedule your Skate Camp class or event from our website or from the email confirmation up to 4 hours before the class or event. We will not reschedule your class or event for you. We do not offer refunds for cancellations; if you cancel your class or event, you are forfeiting your pass.

Skate Camp: If you are sick/injured, we will do our best to fit you in to another day in the SAME School Holidays. This is subject to availability. You must let us know BEFORE skate camp starts if you can’t make it otherwise we will consider this a no-show and won’t be transferring your class.
